Annoroad Gene Technology was established in 2012. As a platform-type enterprise in the Chinese genome industry, Annoroad has set up the medical lab in Beijing. Since its establishment, Annoroad has been honored with the multiple qualifications such as the High-tech Enterprise, the Pilot Unit for the Clinical Application of the High-throughput Gene Sequencing Technology, the Demonstration Center for the Application of the Gene Testing Technology, the National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprisethe, Laboratory for the Engineering in Beijing,  and the Enterprise with the Frontier Technology in Zhongguancun. It boasts a post-doctoral research station.

Annoroad always deeply engages in two major fields, namely, the human medicine & health and the research on the life science, and has set up a professional testing and data analysis platform, to promote the industrialized application of the gene technology initiatively and assist with the development of the life science.

With regard to the medical testing and research, through keeping up with the technological and industrial development trend, Annoroad has launched a series of testing and research projects based on the high-throughput sequencing technology, to contribute to the multiple aspects such as the birth defect prevention and control, the tumor genetic testing and treatment. Moreover, it has took part in and successfully passed the multiple laboratory project assessments.

Annoroad depends on a team composed of the domestic and overseas talents, boasts the independent and core innovation ability in two aspects of the genome sequencing and the informatics, continuously promotes the transformation from the testing projects into the medical devices, and has obtained the certificates of registration/record for the multiple medical devices including NextSeq 550AR (G.X.Z.Z:20173220330) - a gene sequencer,  the fetal chromosomal aneuploidy testing kit (G.X.Z.Z:20173400331) ,the chromosomal aneuploidy and microdeletion detection kit (G.X.Z.Z: 20243400077) ，  and ANNOSTAR (Z.X.Z.Z:20202220056) - an automatic sample loading system successfully.

With regard to the technological service, Annoroad has widely carried out research cooperation with the domestic and overseas colleges and universities, academies and institutes through its multi-omics technology, and has cooperatively published over 1000 articles in the periodicals such as Nature, Science, Cell and Nature Genomics. At present, Annoroad has formed the distinctive technological advantages in the multiple research fields such as the research on the single-cell multi-omics, the research on the third-generation sequencing, the research on the complicated genome assembly, the research on the pan-genome assembly, and the research on the molecular mechanism of diseases.

To improve the user experience fully, Annoroad has launched “SolarGenomics.com” - a gene cloud ecosystem, and has made the remarkable achievements in the multiple aspects such as the storage & compression of the gene data, their operation & acceleration, and their integration & mining.
